Located in the Hengduan Mountains and the Sanjiang River Basin, Changdu County in Tibet lies in eastern Tibet, serving as a vital junction connecting Tibet with Sichuan, Qinghai, and Yunnan. It is a necessary passage for both the Sichuan-Tibet and Yunnan-Tibet highways, as well as a key location on the "Tea-Horse Ancient Road." Despite its beautiful landscape, the daily drinking water for 1,700 teachers and students at the local No. 2 Primary School and No. 1 Kindergarten has become a major challenge. To address this and ensure they have access to healthy drinking water, the Industrial Water Treatment Professional Committee launched the "Sweet Dew Nourishing Young Shoots Public Welfare Initiative," aiming to solve the daily water challenges for local teachers and students through professional equipment and technology.

Hollow Fiber Nanofiltration Direct Drinking Water Equipment

       After years of technological research and development, AQFILM has launched hollow fiber nanofiltration membrane modules suitable for high-quality drinking water. These products feature low operating pressure, high water flux, minimal tail water discharge, and the ability to efficiently and precisely intercept calcium and magnesium ions in water. Organized by the Industrial Water Treatment Association, we accurately connected with the local education bureau and schools to investigate the characteristics of the local water source and usage environment, and customized hollow fiber nanofiltration direct drinking water equipment. Its advantages are as follows:

      Precision Filtration:Removing Contaminants While Retaining Minerals. Through a dual screening mechanism of pore size and charge, selective filtration is achieved to intercept harmful substances.Efficiently removes bacteria, viruses, colloids, and organic pollutants from water.Retains beneficial minerals, allowing mineral ions such as calcium, magnesium, and sodium to pass through, ensuring the natural nutritional properties of drinking water.

      High Efficiency and Energy Saving, Reducing Usage Costs:The hollow fiber nanofiltration membrane operates at lower pressure, with a water production rate typically exceeding 90%, significantly reducing water waste and energy consumption, while ensuring safer and more reliable application.In September 2023, our customized high-quality drinking water equipment was delivered for on-site use. Meanwhile, we assigned experts to provide on-site training and handover for key matters such as equipment installation, debugging, and operation, resolving drinking water challenges for the two schools.

Project Outcomes

After learning about the drinking water problems faced by children at No. 2 Primary School and No. 1 Kindergarten in Jiangda County, Tibet Autonomous Region, we leveraged our professional expertise to actively help solve the issue, ensuring that over 1,700 teachers and students in Tibetan areas have access to safe drinking water. We actively participated in the "Sweet Dew Nourishing Young Shoots Public Welfare Initiative" launched by the Industrial Water Treatment Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. Using our water treatment expertise, we carefully designed and donated a batch of nanofiltration membrane water purification equipment, and ensured subsequent safe water supply. This has helped over 1,700 teachers and students in Tibetan areas drink healthy and nutritious safe water, contributing a loving heart to the educational cause on the plateau.
