The AFD disc tube reverse osmosis membrane is similar to ordinary reverse osmosis membranes, based on reverse osmosis technology. Under pressure, the water to be treated enters the membrane column from the periphery of the flow guide disc. Guided by the flow guide disc, the water forms a turbulent flow that moves transversely across the membrane surface, allowing continuous filtration through the membrane sheets. Water molecules pass through the reverse osmosis membrane to become produced water, while impurities such as salts, organic matter, and microorganisms are intercepted and discharged from the other end of the membrane column along with the concentrated solution.
The AFD series demonstrates strong anti-fouling capabilities: Its special flow channel design creates turbulent flow on the membrane surface, effectively reducing the deposition of pollutants and scaling, and minimizing the risk of membrane fouling. It is suitable for treating wastewater with high turbidity, high suspended solids, high salinity, and high organic matter content.
Flexible operating pressure: The operating pressure can be flexibly adjusted according to different water quality and treatment requirements. When operating under high pressure, it can still maintain high flux and stable desalination rate, showing strong adaptability to fluctuations in influent water quality.
Simple maintenance: When the membrane sheets are contaminated, only the damaged sheets can be replaced individually without replacing the entire membrane column, which reduces maintenance costs and the workload of replacing membrane modules.
Long service life: Due to its excellent anti-fouling performance and convenient membrane sheet replacement, the disc tube reverse osmosis membrane has a relatively long service life under normal operation and maintenance conditions.
With an open-channel design, the feed liquid flows through wide effective channels, preventing physical clogging.
Using flow guide discs with radial bumps as support, the feed liquid forms a turbulent state during filtration, minimizing the occurrence of scaling, fouling, and concentration polarization on the membrane surface.
It effectively reduces membrane scaling and fouling, prolongs the cleaning cycle.
Standardized design for easy disassembly and maintenance, with internal units allowing individual replacement for high flexibility.
The AQFILM AFD series modules have operating pressures divided into four grades: 75bar, 90bar, 120bar, and 180bar,which achieve a maximum recovery rate of 95%.
